Our ‘holiday’ will end tomorrow… after 3 weeks here at my parents’ place.
Will drive back early as we need to pick my cousin up and drop her in Ipoh at the same time pop by one of the shop near her place to get some boxes. They are the cheapest around…
Then will have lunch in Ipoh Old Town again as hubby wanna have a cup of the Ipoh White Coffee and I can grab a bowl of that yummy beef noodles. It has quite a bit of MSG but I don’t eat often… so it’s ok!

Not me but my dear hubby. He will be sitting for a test later today at 8.30am.
This test will be our passport to a ‘greener’ pasture.
Hubby was fretting about it as all the samples he found on the web indicated that it is going to be tough…
Hope he will pull through and pass with flying colors!
.
All the best dear!

Finally I decided to have my very own blog… not my first but one that I chatter just about me, myself and I only and not about my Lil’ Monkey or my other half.
I think all of us need a place to release our frustration or just to pen down some events for memories sake…

I love chicken rice and especially their chili sauce. I can finish up a few sauce plates even for a plate of chicken rice. However, I hate it when I’m done. Why? I will get bad breath after!!!
The ingredients for the wonderful sauce is chillies, garlic, ginger, sugar and vinegar. And the culprit that causes the bad breath is of course the GARLIC! *bah*

Housewife, homemaker or SAHM (stay at home mom)… a post so small but loaded with responsibilities. In fact there was a surveyed done by one of the Singapore’s newspaper that the salary range of a regular housewife should be in the range of SGD20K a month! Now, don’t that equivalent to the pay of a regular General Manager of a huge firm?
Most of the time people associate housewife as someone who stays home and do nothing the whole day! Well, at least according to my hubby!
So, what do a housewife do the whole day?
If she has a kid or kids to care for:
- make milk when the kid/kids wake up
- bathe the kid/kids
- clean all the mess left from the day before
- prepare snacks for the kid/kids if they are huge eaters
- go to the market to stock up cooking ingredients for the day/week
- prepare lunch for the kid/kids
- do the dirty laundry (stinky socks and diapers)
- play/entertain the kid/kids if they are not attending school
- send and fetch the kid/kids to school if they are school going
- put the kid/kids to nap
- wash the car/cars if the hubby is too lazy to care
- iron the cloths if she has a fussy hubby who wants a crease-free shirt everyday
- water the plant and pick up the grass if she has a garden
- prepare dinner
- wash up after dinner
- bathe the kid/kids
- help the kid/kids with their homework if they are school going
- prepare supper for the kid/kids or maybe her want-to-stay-slim hubby
- fold the cloths
- pick up all the mess (scattered toys)
- mop the floor is she feels like it
- bring out the garbage
- tuck the kid/kids in
- etc…etc…etc…
Ok, the list can be endless depending on the family lifestyle.
Since housewife is NOT paid by their employer (though they get some kind of allowance) there are some who will sacrifice their resting time to earn a few bucks by doing odd jobs from home when the hubbies at work and the kids in schools, so she could do some discreet shopping and splurge on the kids.
So….. who says housewife is DOING NOTHING huh?
