That when your eyes twitched, something unpleasant is going to happen, is happening or already happened with your loved ones?
I have this experience before even when I don’t believe the myth that when the eyes twitched, something bad is coming. It happened a few years back when my dad sent me to work one morning. After he dropped me off at the factory, I started doing my work and out of a sudden my eyes started to twitch. At first my mind started to go wild thinking what could it be but I put my mind aside and continued working.
Then my dad came to pick me up in the evening and I saw a huge dent on his car! He was involved in minor after sending me off in the morning! I felt really bad that this has to happen. Poor dad of mine…
My eyes has not been twitching since so could that be a sign for unpleasant events in our life???

Just sent the hubby off to the airport earlier for his biz trip to Jakarta. He will be away till Thursday night so I’ll be all alone with my boy these few nights. Initially it was fine but knowing that tomorrow will be the by-election at Pematang Pauh kind of worries me a bit.
Not sure if there will be unrest after the results being announced later on in the evening. Too bad all these comes when hubby already confirmed all his appointments. Just hope and pray that nothing major will erupt. *sigh*

Since I got my contact lenses, I can now start to beautify my eyes. It has been a long long time since I actually put eye shadow and when I opened my old Clinique, the shadow tip just crumbled and falls into crumbs! O_o
I can’t remember where I kept the extra shadow tips which I bought for my wedding nor the free gift which one of the boutique game me so I have to apply the eye shadow using my finger! How unprofessional!
While shopping in Singapore, I discovered this…

It has 4 tips in a single pen! How convenient! It cost me only $2 from Daiso. I don’t think I’ve ever come across this kind of stuff here in this backward country… hehehehe Now with this pen like shadow tips, I can apply different colors and not have all the tips falling in all different places!
I do not have that much of time to slowly shop since my boy is getting restless so I just grab and go. How I wish I can have the entire day to shop on my own!

I think you’ll never guess in a million years what I’d painstakingly lugged back from Singapore…

After our ‘debating’ session we came to a compromise… that the poor housewife deserve an off day of sort. The hubby was quite reluctant initially but I reminded him that he ‘promised’ me some ‘ME’ time.
On Saturday, I cooked lunch while the hubby cooked dinner. On Sunday, he brought us out for dim sum breakfast. Got home and I cooked for my boy before heading out to QBM… to shop. Oh what joy to be able to shop in peace for almost 5 hours!
I don’t have to kept stuffing food to pacify a cranky toddler and no one calling me on my mobile asking where I am and etc…
I hope I can have such luxury every weekend… some ‘ME’ time to keep my sanity…

My boy woke up pretty early today and the weather was quite gloomy so I thought of going to the wet market with him to get a few items. Then I switched on the PC and was stuck for a while reading some news which drag on and on…
Then it started to rain and turned into a heavy down pour!
Thanks to my lazy bones, I procrastinated and eventually did not go to the market. If I was excited (nice weather mah!) probably we will be drenched!

I have been having problems with my pair of glasses as the screws tend to get lose all the time. I have been changing my glasses almost every year though last year I decided to use my old frame as it cost me RM500 when I bought it 5 years ago and I only used it for a while. I changed the lenses as my degree has increased a little. Practically it is new.
Initially I don’t intend to change it this year as I thought I’ll just bear with it for another few months before getting a new pair. Then suddenly I remembered I still have some contact lenses balance from a few years back and thought I should not waste them but but but… waste them I did as the degree no longer fits me!
I was telling the hubby I should start wearing contact lenses again (after 4 long years!) as I won’t have to deal with sliding down glasses which can be a hassle at times! And vanity got the better of me…
Hubby said why not I get some Toric lenses since both my eyes are suffering from astigmatism. I got my eyes checked again and found out that one of my eyes astigmatism has dropped but still can’t use the balance lenses I have which is non Toric.
I used to live with it last time and that was why I see blur images but when you’re vain you don’t care much! The normal contact lenses are much cheaper of course and putting on for long term can save a lot. Silly me to think that way! I could have spoil my eyes further for being thrifty!
Anyway, I made some inquiries and found out that normal lenses cost RM55 a box of 3 pairs (have to get 2 boxes since both my eyes have different degrees). These Toric lenses cost RM240 for 6 pairs (half year supply).
The shop I got from is giving another pair free as trial pair. I’m not complaining though…
With contact lenses now, I can finally put on eye shadow and mascara…. *bleh~*

I apologize for the *long silence* here the past week as I have been busy-busy!
Just returned from a short break across the Causeway and my entire body is like breaking into pieces due to the many long hours in the shopping malls!
It is no joke bringing a toddler around the island alone but miraculously we made it!
The hubby was there for a work trip so we tagged along. The first three nights we spent in a 5-star hotel and the final two nights we bunked in at my old friend’s place. It was a great little escape for me as I managed to loot a lot of stuff… hehehehe Will be posting some of them later when I’m done with all the laundry later.
Thanks for dropping by… and I hope to pop over your sites later…

One of the thing that I could never understand is when food outlets so proudly to announce that they are offering kid meals but most of the time they do not have kid wares. Well, if you want to sell the kid meals, you ought to have kid wares mah… if not later the kids (especially those younger than 5 years old) break all the glass wares leh…. how?
I was in Secret Recipes once and they have kid meals but no kid wares. My boy was around 2 years old then and during that stage, he is very prone to ‘accidentally’ fan his plate/bowl down from his high chair or even the table. And if that happens, will the parents (us) need to pay for the broken plates or bowls?
To me, when a restaurant want to be really child friendly, they have to consider so much more than just offering kid meals and high chairs. You can’t expect every parents to bring kids above 5 years old all the time right?
